Halsey & Henry’s October wedding at Coleman Guest Ranch in Molalla was the perfect blend of rustic charm, heartfelt moments, and golden autumn light. With open fields, a sunny fall day, and even a few cows in the distance, it was the kind of wedding that feels straight out of a storybook — just with a little extra country flair.
When I arrived, Halsey was getting ready with her bridesmaids, all relaxing and laughing together in the bridal room. I started the day by capturing some quiet venue details — the warm wooden textures, the sweeping views, and little personal touches that made their day unique. Once hair and makeup were finished, I photographed Halsey’s mom helping her into her wedding dress — a beautiful, sweet moment between mother and daughter.
Meanwhile, the groomsmen were already suited up and ready to go — cowboy hats on, beers in hand, and all the good vibes. We got their group portraits done first before tucking Henry away so we could bring the bridesmaids out for their photos. The girls looked amazing in rich green velvet dresses that matched the fall color palette perfectly.
The ceremony took place on the lawn under the afternoon sun, with the ranch’s rolling fields and curious cows in the background — the kind of setting that makes you pause and appreciate how beautiful Oregon can be in the fall. Halsey and Henry exchanged heartfelt vows, and even when Henry dropped the ring into the grass mid-ceremony, it only added to the charm of the moment (don’t worry — he found it!).
After the “I Do’s,” we took family portraits and wedding party group shots while the light was still soft and golden. Then, just before sunset, we snuck away with Halsey and Henry for their couple portraits — some of my favorite images from the day. The way the sun dipped behind the trees, casting that perfect autumn glow, made for the dreamiest backdrop.
As the evening rolled in, guests were treated to a relaxed and joyful reception. Yard games, a photo booth, delicious food, and warm conversations filled the space with life and laughter. Toasts took place under the covered dance floor, followed by Halsey and Henry’s sweet first dance. They cut their cake, shared more hugs and laughs with loved ones, and danced the night away under the stars.
From beginning to end, Halsey & Henry’s wedding was full of love, laughter, and personal touches that made the day feel uniquely theirs. I’m so grateful to have been a part of it and to document all the memories at such a beautiful and down-to-earth venue.
