There’s something truly special about a summer wedding, and Haylee & Chris’s August celebration at Aurora Vineyards was nothing short of magical. The picturesque vineyard, golden sunlight, and an atmosphere filled with love created the perfect backdrop for their unforgettable day.
Getting Ready
When we arrived, Haylee was having the final touches of her makeup done, glowing with excitement for the day ahead. Meanwhile, Chris and his groomsmen were downstairs in their own space, sharing laughs and getting ready. The early afternoon was spent capturing those final preparation moments—Haylee’s delicate details, the anticipation of Chris and his groomsmen, who were ready to go and eager for their portraits before the ceremony.
A Few Special First Looks
One of the most emotional parts of the day was Haylee’s first look with her son. Their embrace was full of love and set the tone for the heartfelt moments to come. Shortly after, she shared another beautiful first look with her dad, whose pride and joy were evident as he saw his daughter as a bride for the first time. Haylee and Chris chose to wait until the ceremony to see each other, so we took their individual portraits separately, building up the anticipation for the moment they’d finally meet at the altar.
A Stunning Ceremony
The ceremony took place on the lawn, with guests watching as Haylee descended the grand staircase toward Chris. Under the bright summer sun, their eyes met for the first time that day—an emotional and beautiful moment. Their vows were heartfelt, their love undeniable, and as they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, their friends and family erupted in cheers.
Capturing Love & Celebration
Following the ceremony, we captured family portraits and the remaining bridal party photos, then stole away with Haylee & Chris for some intimate couple portraits around the stunning vineyard. The love between them radiated in every shot, with the vineyard providing the most breathtaking backdrop.
A Night of Joy & Dancing
Their grand entrance into the event center set the tone for a lively evening. Dinner was served, followed by heartfelt toasts from their loved ones that had everyone laughing and tearing up. The cake cutting was sweet, leading into their formal dances—an intimate first dance, a sentimental father-daughter dance, and a lively mother-son dance. As the music picked up, the dance floor was packed, with guests celebrating all night long. The bouquet and garter toss added to the fun, keeping the energy high.
Sunset & a Grand Finale
As the sun began to set, we whisked Haylee & Chris away for some golden-hour portraits in the vineyard. The warm hues of the sky made for some of the most stunning images of the day. They also took a few moments to read their private vows to each other before rejoining the party. Later in the evening, under the night sky, we captured dramatic flash photos of their champagne tower in front of the event center—an elegant and celebratory moment.
To end the night, Haylee & Chris shared a private last dance, savoring one final moment together before their grand bubble exit. Their send-off was magical, with love and excitement carrying them into their new chapter together.
