There’s something truly magical about summer weddings, and Lacey & Mike’s August wedding at Tin Roof Barn in Washington was no exception. With the sun shining bright and love filling the room, it was a day to remember.
As we arrived, the bridal party was already in full swing—Lacey and her bridesmaids getting ready in one area, while Mike and his groomsmen added their final touches in another. The anticipation was high, as the couple had chosen to wait until the ceremony to see each other for the first time.
To make the most of the time before the ceremony, we photographed the groomsmen with Mike first. Once they were hidden away, Lacey and her bridesmaids stepped into the same shaded spot under a large tree for their portraits. As family members arrived, we took the opportunity to capture those special moments with them as well.
The ceremony itself was nothing short of breathtaking. Despite the heat of the summer sun, all eyes were on Lacey as she walked down the aisle, escorted by both her parents. It was an incredibly emotional moment, full of love and joy.
Following the ceremony, we gathered for couple portraits and the remaining group photos while guests enjoyed cocktail hour under the covered pavilion. The rustic charm of Tin Roof Barn provided a perfect backdrop as friends and family mingled, laughed, and celebrated the newlyweds.
As the sun began to set, Lacey & Mike made their way to the barn for their grand entrance. They took a moment to pray over dinner before indulging in a delicious meal, followed by heartfelt toasts, cake cutting, and special dances.
One of the most stunning moments of the day was when we slipped away for a few minutes to capture the breathtaking sunset against the mountains. The sky painted itself in hues of gold, a perfect reflection of the warmth and beauty of their love.
As the night went on, the dance floor was full of energy, laughter, and celebration. The evening ended in the most enchanting way—with a bubble exit, sending Lacey & Mike off in a magical flurry of light and joy.
It was truly a wedding day filled with love, happiness, and unforgettable moments. Congratulations to Lacey & Mike—may your journey together be as beautiful as your wedding day!
