A Journey Through the Years
Having known Emma and Tristen for many years, their wedding at Sage and Social this July was particularly special for me. Emma’s sister, one of my closest friends, initially introduced me to this wonderful couple. From their couple portraits to their proposal, engagement, and now their wedding day, I’ve been privileged to capture their love story every step of the way.

Getting Ready
The day began with the lively energy of the bridesmaids getting ready. Dressed in matching pajamas, they laughed, reminisced, and celebrated the moments leading up to Emma’s big day. These candid moments of joy and excitement set the perfect tone for the day ahead.

The First Look
Tristen stood at the altar, his anticipation palpable. Emma approached him, and their first look was nothing short of magical. They chose this intimate moment to read their private vows to each other—a deeply personal touch that underscored the genuine love and commitment they share. Capturing their emotions during this moment was an honor and a privilege.

Portraits in Picturesque Settings
We took advantage of Sage and Social’s stunning backdrop for couple portraits. The altar, the steps, the lush lawn, and even the modern barn provided diverse and beautiful settings. Each shot reflected their love and the unique charm of the venue.

Family and Wedding Party Photos
Before the guests began to arrive, we gathered the wedding party and family for group photos. These pre-ceremony moments were filled with laughter and camaraderie, capturing the close bonds and joyous spirit of the day.

A Heartfelt Ceremony
Emma and Tristen’s ceremony was officiated by one of Emma’s cousins, adding a personal and heartfelt touch. The love and support from family and friends were evident, creating an intimate and memorable ceremony.

Celebrations and Sunset Portraits
Post-ceremony, the festivities kicked off with mingling and games of corn hole. The newlyweds made a grand entrance into the barn for dinner and heartfelt toasts. As the sun began to set, we stole a few moments for some breathtaking sunset portraits, capturing the couple in the soft, golden light.

Dancing the Night Away
The evening continued with parent dances, Emma and Tristen’s first dance, and lively celebrations on the patio. The joy and energy were infectious, and everyone danced the night away under the string lights.

A Personal Note
Emma and Tristen, your wedding day was a beautiful testament to your love story. From the intimate first look to the joyous celebrations, every moment was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey and for trusting me to capture these precious moments. I am so grateful to have witnessed and documented your special day.
x, Hannah
