As the leaves began to turn and the breeze grew crisp, love was in full bloom at Postlewait’s in Canby, Oregon. Dani and Austin’s autumn wedding was a celebration of love, warmth, and the beauty of the season. As their wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing every heartfelt moment of their special day.

The morning started with a flurry of excitement as I arrived to capture the intricate details that made Dani and Austin’s day uniquely theirs. From the delicate sparkle of the rings to the heartfelt words written in their vow books, every detail told a story of love and commitment. Hanging Dani’s dress against the backdrop venue created a picture-perfect moment, capturing the anticipation of the day ahead.

As Dani and her bridesmaids put the finishing touches on their hair and makeup, Austin and his groomsmen gathered on the patio, adding the final touches to their attire. Everyone buzzed with anticipation as Dani and Austin prepared to share a first look on the enchanting floral pathway. The love and emotion that filled the lawn as they read their personal vows to each other was emotional, and even I couldn’t help but feel moved by the moment.

With the sun casting its perfect lighting upon the venue, we ventured out to capture portraits amidst the vibrant fall foliage. The pink flowers, pampas grass, and rustic red barn provided the perfect backdrop for their love to shine. We took advantage of the picturesque surroundings to capture timeless moments with the wedding party and family before returning indoors for the ceremony.

The barn was transformed into a cozy haven of fall-inspired decor, with pumpkins lining the aisle and warm orange tones adorning the space. As Dani and Austin exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones, it was evident that their love was as timeless as the season itself.

The festivities continued seamlessly into the evening, with dinner, toasts, and the joyous tradition of cutting the cake. The shoe game and heartfelt parent dances added personal touches to the celebration, while a lively photo booth provided endless entertainment for guests.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we stole away to the fields for a breathtaking sunset session. The sky painted in hues of gold provided the perfect backdrop for capturing the essence of Dani and Austin’s love.

The evening concluded with a sparkler exit, illuminating the night with sparks of joy and laughter. As the newlyweds danced beneath the twinkling lights, surrounded by their loved ones, it was clear that their journey together was just beginning.

Since that magical day, Dani and Austin have become more than just clients—they’ve become neighbors and friends. Being able to witness and capture their love story was a true blessing, and I’m grateful to have been a part of their unforgettable October wedding at Postlewait’s.
