Brooke and Blake’s wedding was at Mount Pisgah Arboretum in Eugene and it was absolutely stunning! It was my first time here and I had so much fun shooting at this venue. My favorite part was the ceremony under the large tree. It was the perfect spot for a ceremony. Such a unique location! The indoor pavilion was such a great venue for dinner. There was a large yard and patio for games and dancing. 

I first met Brooke and Blake when we worked together on their engagement photos. They drove up to my hometown and we captured some gorgeous photos together and I couldn’t wait until their wedding day to capture even more beautiful photos! 

Brooke and Blake’s wedding was really special because they didn’t see each other before the ceremony, and so it was a big surprise when Brooke walked down the aisle. It was such a unique location and they had the ceremony underneath the big tree. During their reception, a small rainbow even appeared which was such a special moment!

On the wedding day, Blake was already ready to go when we first arrived so we took some photos of him with his groomsmen. We also captured some beautiful detail and venue shots while Brooke finished getting ready. Brooke and Blake didn’t see each other before the ceremony, so we started with that soon after everyone was ready. After the ceremony we moved onto the formal group shots before doing just some couple photos. The reception was so fun and was filled with yard games, dancing and a yummy dinner and desert!I also got my first bee sting which made it extra memorable (hahaha).

The photos that I captured throughout the day were very easygoing, romantic and full of love! It was so easy to see and capture the love between them. We wanted to make sure to take photos with a few specific poses as well as lots of candid shots and different options and angles. 

I loved shooting their wedding so much because Brooke and Blake are such a beautiful couple and it was an amazing location! The sunset at the end of the evening was so stunning and memorable. And all of the guests, and the couple, were so sweet and kind throughout the whole day. I still use their wedding favors (wooden coasters) to this day 🙂
