Justine and Steve’s wedding was at St. Josef’s winery in Canby. It was such a stunning venue with amazing spaces for getting ready that were right above the tasting room. There was a ceremony area by the pond, an indoor reception space and patio. It truly couldn’t have been more perfect! 

I first met Justine and Steve during their engagement session and we instantly clicked so well! We did a beautiful fall engagement session in Wilsonville, where Justine grew up. And then on their wedding day we had so much fun together and were so comfortable with each other. They trusted my vision for capturing their day without hesitation. 

Justine and Steve had lots of unique touches on their wedding day which made it so special. For example, immediately after their ceremony, they had a greeting line for the guests to come and see and take photos with them. It was so sweet as it meant that they could interact with all of their guests before heading into the reception. 

After signing their marriage license, Justine and Steve got to have a few private moments with their best friends and yummy appetizers. They were very intentional about making time with their loved ones throughout the day which was so special. They also asked all of their guests to stick to a blue color palette, which looked amazing! It was so fun to see all of the guests turn up in their different shades of blue, and I also wore blue to match! 

When I first arrived, Justine was finishing getting ready with her final touches of lipgloss and putting on her shoes. I started with some detail shots before going down to do the first look and private vows. After taking some of their couple portraits and family portraits, they had a grand reveal of their reception decor. It was so special to see them surprised and in love with the finished decor. The ceremony took place in front of the pond which was so beautiful. Justine and Steve signed their marriage license, dinner was served with beautiful toasts by their loved ones before dancing the night away. We were also able to get some stunning sunset photos and it was a day that they’ll never forget. 

The photos from their wedding were all so romantic, very joyful and enchanting. The venue was also beautiful and it helped to tell the story of their love with the stunning Italian winery vibes. It almost felt like you were in another country. It was really easy and fun to capture their love because of their endless smiles and joy all day.
