Kelsie and Devan’s wedding was at the Hard Rock Hotel in Cabo. It’s a beautiful venue and several weddings are hosted each day at their various venue sites. The hotel was all inclusive and as well as being the perfect location for a beach wedding it was also a great getaway! 

Kelsie and Devan found me as their wedding photographer and we met in person for the first time for their engagement photos in the fall! My husband, Avery was also with me during the session and we discovered that Avery and Devan work together! After that we just clicked even more and had so much fun discussing plans for their destination wedding. 

There were a few unique touches at their wedding, including a first touch with tequila shots, a beautiful beachfront ceremony just before the sun went down and an awesome reception with fireworks in the background! Throughout the whole day there were just so many special and well thought out details and surprises. 

On their wedding day we started with getting ready photos, after I spent the morning at the pool with Avery. We then did formal portraits of Kelsie and Devan before their first touch. Then, after the ceremony, we did couple portraits during sunset and then enjoyed the reception!

Their wedding photos were very adventurous, playful, romantic and inspiring. They trusted me to capture the special moments throughout their day and also told me a few specific ideas they had for photos which I loved! It was a great team effort to make this amazing day happen! 

I loved shooting this wedding so much because it was my first destination wedding! It was so much fun traveling to Mexico to be a part of the group for the weekend. After arriving at the hotel on Friday night we were invited to the rehearsal dinner and an after party at the one of the rooms with a pool. We all got to enjoy the events together with their family and friends and it was so special to be included!
