Taylor and Colin’s wedding was a beautiful, boho, industrial wedding. I don’t see a lot of downtown weddings and it made the day so unique and all of the details really stood out. Their ceremony space was turned into a reception space during cocktail hour and it made for the perfect downtown setting! The brick walls were gorgeous and the rooftop was amazing for photos! 

Taylor and Colin found me a year before their wedding and we secured their date. We met during their engagement session where we practiced in front of the camera and chatted details about their wedding. They were so fun and easy to work with! On the big day – they had lots of reception events that were so unique and fun! The DJ had the guests wave their napkins around as the couple entered and the bridal party made a tunnel for their entrance. There were so many special and personal toasts from family and friends. During the cake cutting, the OSU fight song was playing. The crowd went wild from both sides. It was so unique to see how many fun and personalized details there were to show the couples personalities!

On their wedding day we started with the getting ready photos at 2 different locations, I was with the bridesmaids and my second shooter was with the guys at the hotel down the road. Then Colin came for a first touch and a first look on the. corner of the venue and we started the formal photos before the ceremony. After the ceremony, we took some beautiful rooftop photos with the sunset before doing dinner, toasts and dancing for the rest of the night. 

Taylor and Colin’s wedding photos were very warm and carefree. For some of the photos we had them walking along the street & dancing on the rooftops. Photos that showed their fun personalities and relationship. There were also so many stunning locations across the whole venue that were perfect for their photos. And the bridal party helped with some fun posing ideas! 

I loved shooting Taylor and Colin’s wedding because it was so fun to see their day all come together. Their friends and family were also so fun to spend the day with! The venue was gorgeous and you could tell that everyone was having so much fun!
