Mary and Nate had their wedding at Creekside Estate in Washougal Washington. The venue had a beautiful home with areas for both the bride and groom to get ready and lots of photo ops. It really was a hidden gem!
Mary and Nate are some of the sweetest people I have ever met! We hadn’t met before their engagement photos but we clicked right away during their beach engagement session the previous year. Mary and I finalized all the details and timelines leading up to their wedding day to ensure that it was as seamless as possible.
Something special about their wedding day was that they waited until Mary was walking down the aisle to see each other for the first time. Throughout the portraits it was a team effort to make sure that they were hidden from each other while we were taking the photos to ensure that the moment was meaningful and special to them.
Another unique part of their wedding day was that Mary had 3 different dresses. She wore one dress for the ceremony, one for the reception and another for dancing. It was really fun to capture the 3 different looks!
Mary and Nate wanted their true love captured through their emotions in the photos. The beautiful setting and all of the little details that came together to make the day perfect. Everyone was so happy throughout the whole day and full of laughter and joy. It truly was the best day!
I loved shooting this wedding because it felt like a fairytale day for Mary and Nate. The day was so carefully thought out and planned and all of the little details created the perfect atmosphere. From the customized name cards to the cotton candy sunset and the wildlife running through the forest, it was a truly magical day.
