WEDDINGS + ELOPEMENTS + COUPLES

Pittock Mansion Elopement

We did this shoot at Pittock Mansion in Portland. I chose this location because it was somewhere that I’ve never shot at before. It’s such a beautiful location and looks over the city so I knew that it would be a perfect place to showcase the wedding dress.

I worked with Amity and Parker for this session because they’d hired me to take their engagement photos last summer and during that time we instantly connected! They’ve always been so supportive of my business and I knew that they would be perfect for this shoot.

We set up this session to model and shoot a beautiful wedding dress from AW Bridal. I knew that I wanted to work with Amity and Parker for this shoot because they’d shown interest in my previous Instagram posts about modeling for any of my future projects. They’re also getting married next month so this was a perfect little trial run for them to get those wedding nerves out.

During this session, as well as capturing the beautiful dress I also wanted to capture a glimpse of their love story through my photos. This was easy as the joy just came naturally to them and they were so full of happiness and love! I wanted the vibe to be very elegant, intimate while also being adventurous. During the whole shoot they were so flexible and willing to try out different prompts and help me execute the vision that I had for the shoot.

I loved shooting this session with Amity and Parker because unfortunately I’m unable to shoot their actual wedding as it’s the day before my own wedding anniversary so I’m glad that I got to work with them again and capture some ‘wedding’ photos for them!

Parker and Amity also left the sweetest review!

“Are you kidding me?! Everything is so beautiful! You blew it out of the park! Thank you for the opportunity 🥰 it was so much fun”

I absolutely loved working with Parker and Amity on this shoot!
