Erica and Gabe’s shoot was so special because they made a trip back to where they met in Oregon for this adventure session! They met when they attended school at Linfield and then they moved to California, and will be getting married there later this year! But for their engagement session they made a trip back to where their love story started and it was so special to capture a new chapter of their love story where it all began.

Erica found me through Instagram and reached out to me about capturing their engagement in Oregon. We instantly connected and we instantly started planning their adventure session!

Their engagement session was so unique because it was the first one that I’d been to where it was two different locations! We were lucky enough to experience Latourell Falls – and it was my first time there – as well as the Columbia Gorge. It was an amazing experience and adventure for all of us and really was an unbeatable evening!

The photos that we captured were very ‘Oregon’, from the romantic waterfall shots to the golden hour beauty of the Gorge, I was able to capture a lot of really sweet and special details. Like Gabe picking flowers for Erica or the gentle spray of the waterfall on their skin. 🤍

This session was not only the perfect evening; the temperature was just right, no direct sunlight in their photos, during golden hour and the beautiful views, but it was also a great test to the meaning of an ‘adventure’!
