The day that I was asked to do this lovely couple’s wedding, I was absolutely thrilled!
I had the opportunity to capture Connor and Summer’s special day in Boise, Idaho on a lovely spring day in March. Hopping on a plane during this crazy worldwide sickness, I was nervous. But I was excited more than anything!
Let’s start with how the wedding day began.
Getting ready
I got ready with Summer and her two bridesmaids in the morning. We listened to a lot of Disney music, drank coffee, and got glamorous. I was so impressed that Summer did her own hair and makeup for her big day. It takes some real talent. These ladies looked amazing the whole day!
The First Look
We drove over to a park where the epic first look took place. It was such a special moment. I don’t even have words to describe it.
Special moments before “I Do”
Connor and Summer had some one-on-one time before the ceremony started and we captured some photos that REALLY show their love for each other.
Bridal Party
A wedding day isn’t complete without a joyful bridal party to join in on the fun! They all love the bride and groom so much and helped make the day so special for them.
Family is forever
Wedding ceremony…Ok who has tissues?
This intimate ceremony was just was Connor and Summer needed. They had people surrounding them and supporting their marriage. The ceremony included a few tears…but it was the happiest day!
Dinner and speeches
They’re married! Time to celebrate! The evening started off with dinner, followed by some touching speeches given by Christopher (Best Man), Ally (Bridesmaid), and Chris (Father of the Groom). They were filled with lots of laughs and a few tears.

Dance with me…
Summer and Connor had their first dance. How freakin’ adorable are they?! Then Connor danced with his sweet momma, and Summer shared a dance with Connor’s dad.
The grand exit!
The happy couple drove off to take sunset photos before the second reception. I met them at a new location to take some stunning photos. Get ready for this…

Reception #2 aka dance party
We went to an Airbnb for the reception so we could get a little more crazy and hang out all night long. Can you tell which dance they’re doing in these pictures? 🙂
