There’s something truly magical about summer weddings, and Amanda & Ben’s celebration at Abbey Road Farm was no exception. Held in the stunning heart of wine country, their day was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that we were honored to capture.
Getting Ready: Moments of Anticipation
As we arrived at Abbey Road Farm, the excitement was visible. Amanda and her bridesmaids were in the final stages of preparation, with Amanda receiving the finishing touches of her makeup. The room was a buzz of activity, with smiles and laughter. We took this opportunity to capture the delicate details of the day – the rings, Amanda’s elegant shoes, their heartfelt vow books, and other personal touches that made the day uniquely theirs.
Amanda’s getting ready moments were particularly touching as she shared them with her mom. The bond between them was evident as her mom helped her into her stunning wedding dress and adorned her with jewelry that added the perfect finishing touch. Meanwhile, Ben and his groomsmen were in the Tool Shed, where they were getting ready amidst jokes and camaraderie, setting a joyful tone for the day.
The First Look: Moments to Remember
One of the most beautiful parts of the day was Amanda’s first look with her bridesmaids. The joy and awe on their faces as she revealed her finished look was priceless. This was followed by an emotional first look with her dad, who received a special gift from Amanda – a moment that left everyone misty-eyed.
Amanda and Ben chose to have their first look among the serene trees of Abbey Road Farm. This intimate moment was followed by the reading of their private vows, a tender exchange that allowed them to share their deepest feelings away from the crowd. Capturing their couple portraits in the lush trees, vibrant vineyard, and expansive lawn was a photographer’s dream.
Pre-Ceremony: Capturing the Joy
Before the ceremony began, we gathered the wedding party and family for photos. The joy and anticipation was evident in every shot, as everyone gathered to celebrate Amanda and Ben’s love. The barn provided a picturesque backdrop for these precious moments.
The Ceremony: Love in Full Bloom
The ceremony took place overlooking the breathtaking vineyard, with flower petals delicately lining the aisle. A particularly heartwarming detail was the inclusion of Amanda and Ben’s dog, who adorably walked/ran down the aisle. As Amanda and Ben exchanged their vows and finally said “I Do,” flower petals were joyously thrown by guests, marking the beginning of their new life together.
The Reception: Celebration in Style
The reception was a lively affair, starting with a grand entrance by the wedding party. During the cocktail hour, Amanda and Ben mingled with their guests, sharing in the joy of the day. Their first dance was a beautiful moment that set the tone for the evening’s festivities.
Dinner was accompanied by heartfelt toasts from their fathers and the wedding party, celebrating the love and union of Amanda and Ben. After the toasts, the couple cut their elegant wedding cake, a sweet symbol of their shared future.
As the sun began to set, we snuck the couple away for some breathtaking sunset photos. The golden light added a perfect glow to their portraits, capturing the romance of the day.

The rest of the evening was filled with dancing and celebration. Amanda and Ben, surrounded by their closest friends and family, danced the night away, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
