There’s something undeniably special about a summer wedding, and Kelley & Josh’s Thursday celebration at Abbey Road Farm was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement.
The ladies were tucked away in the bridal suite, adding the finishing touches to their elegant looks, while the guys were in their own space, getting suited up for the big day. There was laughter, anticipation, and a quiet joy as everyone prepared for the moment ahead.
A Heartfelt First Look & Vows
We chose a picturesque spot under a grand tree for Josh to get ready for the first look. The anticipation was palpable as Kelley made her way toward him, and when she finally tapped him on the shoulder, the moment was pure magic. Their vows were filled with emotion, making for one of the most touching moments of the day. As the golden summer sun cast its warm glow, we captured stunning portraits around the property, each shot reflecting their deep love and excitement for the journey ahead.
Before guests arrived, we gathered the wedding party in front of the barn for group photos, taking advantage of the great backdrop that Abbey Road Farm has to offer.
A Ceremony to Remember
As guests took their seats on the lawn, the ceremony unfolded against a backdrop of rolling vineyards—a truly perfect setting for Kelley & Josh to say “I do.” The couple exchanged their vows once more, this time in front of their closest family and friends, sealing their promises with a kiss. It was a picture-perfect moment filled with love and joy.
An Evening of Celebration
Following the ceremony, we finished up group portraits before kicking off the reception. The newlyweds made a grand entrance with their full wedding party, setting the tone for an evening filled with laughter and celebration. Their first dance was a beautiful and intimate moment, followed by a delicious dinner, heartfelt toasts, and of course, the sweet tradition of cutting the cake.
As the night carried on, guests played corn hole and sipped drinks on the lawn, soaking in the relaxed summer atmosphere. As the sun began to set, we stepped away for golden hour portraits in front of the barn and among the vineyard rows—an absolutely stunning way to capture the magic of the evening.
With the dance floor in full swing, the night wrapped up with a joyful bubble exit, sending Kelley & Josh off into their next adventure as husband and wife. It was an honor to capture their love story, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
