Love stories as heartfelt and joyful as Rachael and Bryant’s make being a wedding photographer an absolute dream. From their engagement session at the breathtaking Oregon Coast earlier in the year to their magical summer wedding day at Aurora Vineyards, every moment with them has been unforgettable.
July graced us with the perfect summer day for their big celebration. When we arrived at the vineyard, Rachael and her bridal party were in the getting-ready suites, surrounded by laughter and excitement. Watching Rachael slip into her stunning wedding dress and accessorize with her carefully chosen jewelry and shoes was a beautiful moment, capped off with a heartfelt reveal to her bridesmaids. Their reactions—pure joy and awe—set the tone for the day.
Meanwhile, Bryant, already dressed and looking sharp, was relaxing with his groomsmen. He seemed calm, but the anticipation was palpable as we led him to a shady spot for their first look. And oh, what a first look it was! The moment Bryant saw Rachael, his emotions overflowed, and I captured one of the most genuine, heartwarming reactions I’ve ever photographed. The love and admiration in his eyes were undeniable, and there wasn’t a dry eye behind the camera, either!
After a private exchange of vows that had them (and us!) tearing up again, Rachael shared another emotional moment with her dad during their first look. It was a reminder of how meaningful these small, intimate connections are on such a big day.
Once the emotions settled, we had some fun with the wedding party, capturing a mix of playful and elegant shots. The couple portraits that followed were nothing short of magical, with Aurora Vineyards’ lush scenery providing the perfect backdrop. From the sweeping views to the charming details of the venue, every corner was a photographer’s paradise.
As the ceremony began, guests gathered on the vineyard’s tiered lawn, eagerly awaiting the bride’s entrance. Bryant’s emotions bubbled over again as Rachael walked down the aisle, radiant and glowing. Their ceremony was sweet, heartfelt, and perfectly them.
The celebration continued with family portraits during cocktail hour before everyone moved to the event center for the reception. The evening unfolded beautifully, beginning with their first dance and touching parent dances. Dinner, heartfelt speeches, and plenty of laughter during the shoe game followed, each moment weaving seamlessly into the day’s joyful narrative.
One of the highlights was sneaking Rachael and Bryant away for sunset portraits in the vineyard. The golden light enveloped them, creating some of the most stunning, romantic images of the day. It was a brief, quiet pause in the whirlwind of their celebration and a chance for them to soak in the beauty of their first evening as a married couple.
As the reception kicked into high gear with dancing and celebration, it was clear this was a night to remember. The energy was electric, the joy infectious. The perfect day ended with a bubble exit, a whimsical and picture-perfect sendoff for the new Mr. and Mrs.
